I'm sure everyone agrees with Heloise and Jons' appreciation of all that the Jersey commitee did and Marcus re: the website. Also, big congratulations to Sarah on the birth of her baby boy! | Jo | 16/09/2006 13:21 |
Many thanks to our Jersey Clipper Committee for all the hard work put into the Jersey Clipper campaign. Unlike most of the other yachts campaign, Jersey’s Clipper Committee was made up of enthusiastic volunteers. It is very much to their credit that this went unnoticed by the majority of the crews. We strongly believe they did us proud on both occasions that the fleet visited the Island. Thank you very much indeed. We would also like to extend our thanks to Marcus for his tireless work in running the best Crew Website of the fleet! | Héloïse Le Norcy and Jon Trott (Postie) | 21/08/2006 19:32 |
Kate, You and the team did it, well done, and welcome home!!what a achevement, proud of you girl, wont see you at work as on maternity leave, but e-mail me if your going out for drinks to celebrate your return, wild sea's wont keep me away! unless my waters break of course! | Sue Burr | 05/08/2006 10:09 |

What a fantastic job, congratulations Jersey crew! Simon, you're looking far too fit and tanned to come back to the lawyering profession - we can't have happy healthy lawyers ruining the mood of the place. we'll have to establish a new sailing division for you to run instead....
Safe travels home.
Jeff and the Sun team | Jeff Reeser | 01/08/2006 15:45 |
Kate, well done to you and all the Jersey crew on a job well done even with all the set backs you had. You have done something that most of us can only dream about let alone do something to be proud of and something to look back on.

Hi Julian and crew,
This last week or two has gone very quickly. It seems like only a few days ago you were still a long way off the Canal and now you're through it! It must be great being in the warm balmy weather. It's very cold here in Sydney, it's Winter downunder, and although you probably don't associate cold weather with Australia, we call an overnight minimum of 5 degrees C *very* cold.
Congratulations Peter on your 70th. I can't believe it's you at the bow in those conditions. Hey Julian, plenty of time for you to do a lot more trips! :-)
Now crew, you've had your time dallying at the rear of the fleet, lets see you in front this time.
